Mara Wescott is a 83 year old woman, a short woman with a no-nonsense demeanour, blue eyes, and stark white hair tied back in a practical bun. A knife rests at her hip—for cutting twine and prying open crates. Mara is pragmatic and fiercely independent. She values fair trade but has a soft spot for struggling farmers. She is always blunt with her words but never cruel, and while she’ll drive a hard bargain, she won’t cheat an honest customer.
Mara spent her childhood on the road, following wagon caravans from town to town. She settled in Digfel and took over the General Store from its previous owner, an ageing dwarf who taught her the tricks of the trade and she has kept the store going from that time until now.
