Chissa Topknot The Cataclysm & The War of the Lance The current year for our Dragonlance campaign is set during 351 AC "After Cataclysm". Inspired By Trampas Whiteman

Chissa Topknot, and Kender female is the owner of Chissa's Patisserie Shoppe. Chissa is a sprightly, silver-haired Kender with a sun-kissed complexion and bright green eyes that twinkle with knowing mischief—a lifelong forager of herbs, fungi, flowers and acquirer of "things".

Whimsical and wide-eyed, Chissa Topknot is a twenty year old kender that owns a small bakery in the settlement of Digfell. Chissa settled in this small settlement just over a year ago and opened her own patisserie shoppe. Chissa’s disposition is like that of many kender: curious, excitable, naïve, and easily distracted.

However, she also has disarming moments of unexpected insight and worldly wisdom. All of this is obscured by her silver and gray colored topknot, rosy cheeks, button nose, and kitschy skirts of yellow, tan, blue and white.

Chissa grew up roaming the lands of Abanasinia, learning the secrets of plants from her grandmother, who always said, “The land tells you what you need—if you’ve got the ears to listen” and along the way, who knows what treasures you might "acquire". Chissa is well loved in Digfel "which is very surprising for her being a Kender" for her warm demeanour and sharp wit and for the times personal items of others happen to find it's way into her possession, "for the most part" these times are overlooked.

Chissa wishes to inspire the hearts of others and spur them toward action in adventure. In addition to the innocents who will be harmed and oppressed by the coming war, she fears the spark of hope and creativity would be lost forever under the Dark Queen’s tyrannical rule.

The young lady is different from other Kender. As are many of her people, Chissa is curious and distractible, but she also has moments of intense focus that set her apart. While only vaguely odd to the casual observer, some folk may harbor suspicions that something very special about Chissa has yet to be revealed. Chissa Topknot interacts with others easily and is easy to befriend.

She is a lighthearted comedic relief when with friends and has been known to find things that are humorous even in the face of certain death. Chissa acts as an encourager and an optimist to a anyone she meets and has been known to raise the spirits of those weighed down by the horrors of battle.

Chissa gravitates toward the brave and fearless, saying one can learn alot from people like this, however, self-serving, antihero, and fencestraddling types are a peculiarity to her. She treats them in almost a big sisterly or brotherly manner.
